About OutpostLog
A faceless field log for gear, power, and packing.
OutpostLog is a camping and overlanding blog focused on field logistics: how you pack a vehicle, how you plan loads, how you power camp, and how you keep checklists tight enough to use.
It is written by a veteran logistician. That background informs the systems thinking—zones, priorities, repeatable pack-outs—not a claim of military endorsement, and this site does not use official military marks or insignia.
There is no personality brand here on purpose. The point is the log: clear guides you can apply to your own kit, whether you are weekending in a hatchback or building out a truck for longer dirt-road travel.
What you will find
- Packing systems and load plans
- Camp power (portable power stations, solar as a system)
- Gear organization and checklists
- Category buying guidance without invented specs or fake prices
How the site is supported
OutpostLog will earn money through affiliate links (for example Amazon Associates and outdoor brands) once those programs are joined, and through an email list for readers who want updates. Affiliate relationships will be disclosed. See the Affiliate Disclosure and Privacy Policy.
